This past winter break was such a memorable time for our members who had the opportunity to see the snow for the first time. When school was out, some of our homes packed up their vans and winter gear and headed up north to see the falling snow. It was such a joy to see our kiddos' faces when they looked out the window and saw the fluffy white snow. On their snow trip; our kiddos had the full experience; from snowball fights, snow angels, and they even got to explore the local towns.
Check out what one of our foster girl’s had to say about their snow trip:
“This trip was so memorable for me because it was the first time I was able to see the snow with my sisters. My favorite part was when we were driving through the snow, and our van got stuck! We were stuck on the side of the road for about an hour; but after we tried one more time; we were able to move. It was so cool because I’m so used to the heat in Arizona, and this was a fun change in weather. We had so much fun… I especially loved being able to throw snowballs at my sisters and staff. I can’t wait to go back next winter.”
